Artist's Comments

This is a photograph of metal bands used to strap loads to skids for shipping.

common. one-time-use. non-recyclable. cheap and easy. cost efficient. no conscience.
but under the right light anything can look pretty.

lazy is the new black by *VonCrowd shows just what abstract photography can showcase. Not to mention my favorite function for it: taking the mundane, and sometimes even the ugly, and finding the right angle and the right light to create an aesthetically beautiful photograph. Photography is the medium where part of your tools are your subject, and imagination and an eye for great composition make it possible to achieve images like this one. (Featured by ^opioid)

Beautiful shimmering hypnotic effect  Vaguely reminds me of lightly-textured low-iteration fractals. We find common ground once more :D
